Purple is in

These girls had a rough night last night.

They slept in though, all cuddled up with eachother. And Declan woke up with the sun (go figure) and the restless night was soon forgotten...

It was a hot one, so Isabella and Declan's favorite activities of choice (riding their tractors and playing in my van, pretending to be 'dadults') was cut short by 12pm. Isabella kept asking why it was dangerous to play outside in the car, in the garage when it was so hot.  She still doesn't get it. Either that, or my response was far from impressive.
So we stayed in and ate things that are frozen. As my kids love to do. Blueberries, melon, yogurt pops- the magic bullet has been my best friend the past few weeks. Every time I turn around, we're mixing up a new smoothie to freeze into pops. It is the meal of choice around here.

I saw actual 'rocket pop' molds the other day. Should have gotten them...

Purple stained fingers, legs, arms, mouth. She's looking a little smurf-ish today.

Ryan and the toddlers are off to the pool this evening. The babe and I are off to the new Whole Foods in Charlottesville. Taylor wants to show off his new desirable workplace.. And contribute to grocery debt for us. All in good fun, of course.
